Course description
Romanian language intensive practical course
- is divided into three sections :
- Romanian Phonetics and Phonology;
- Romanian Morphology and Syntax;
- Terminology for specific purposes;
Speaking
The course aims mainly:
- Familiarize students with the Romanian language
from a functional perspective;
- Assimilation fundamental structures of the Romanian
language and apply them in current conversation;
- Develop language skills (spoken language understanding,
speaking, understanding written language, writing
text properly, conversational interaction), corresponding
to levels A1 , A2 , B1 established by the Common European
Framework of Reference for Languages ( CEFR ), developed
by Council of Europe.
Romanian language for specific purposes-
students learning foreign languages aims especially:
legal vocabulary, economic and technical vocabulary,
humanities vocabulary, increasing linguistic competence
and performance by making learning a language specialist
.
Romanian Culture and Civilization
course for foreign students provides relevant information
about the Romanian geography, history, literature,
folklore, philosophy, music, culture, civilization
and art, coming to familiarize foreign cultural meaning
Romanian model integrated into the European cultural
model. The course summarizes the fundamental themes
of Romanian spirituality founding myths, birth, marriage,
death, winter and spring holidays etc.) Romania from
ancient times to the present. The theoretical part
of the course is supported by a number of audio -
video and illustrates the role of music and picture
symbols in the Romanian culture.
